What is a Re-entry Permit?

A re-entry permit is an official authorization that allows foreign nationals with valid Thai visas to temporarily leave the Kingdom without losing their current visa status. Without this permit, your visa is automatically cancelled upon departure.

If you have been granted permission to re-enter Thailand with your current visa intact, you can continue your stay for the remaining validity period upon your return.
