If you are 50 years old or older, you are eligible to apply for this visa. You must have either 800,000 THB in a Thai bank account or a monthly income of 65,000 THB

The Thailand Retirement Visa does not permit you to obtain a work permit. This visa is exclusively for retirees who do not intend to work in Thailand. If you plan to work, you will need to apply for a different visa category such as a Non-Immigrant B visa.
